HI, I'm Cici.
About Me
Hi, I’m Jiwen (Cici) Zhong, a recent graduate with a Master’s in Human-Centered Design from Cornell University. My work bridges UX design, HCI research, and immersive technologies to create meaningful interactions between people and digital systems. My fascination with how design shapes behavior drives me to create products that make everyday life simpler and more connected.

I believe design is not just about usability, but about fostering connection, clarity, and positive experiences. My approach is both research-driven and human-focused, combining qualitative insights with quantitative methods to inform solutions that balance functionality and empathy.

Over the past few years, I’ve gained diverse experiences across healthcare, education, and digital platforms. At HUG Medical, I designed a B2B2C system that improved medication adherence for patients and caregivers. My research on VR collaboration and social presence has been accepted to international conferences, and I’ve also led design initiatives for startups, where I built information architecture, prototypes, and user flows from the ground up.

Beyond academics, I’m inspired by art, interactive installations, and storytelling, which shape my design sensibility and creative practice. I see design as a bridge between disciplines—bringing together technology, psychology, and creativity to improve people’s everyday lives.
